Group A has completed their opening matches and the Winners Match, giving the North American representatives, Flying Penguins, the top seed.
EE and company dropped only one game to each of their opponents - Royal Never Give Up and Old But Gold, winning both series overall and finishing with a 4:2 record. Their success is rewarded with a secured spot in the playoffs.
Only four teams will be able to compete in the playoffs after the group stage. Two teams from each group will be eliminated, ending all hopes of a ticket to DreamLeague Season 11 Stockholm Major. Two teams from each group will battle it out in the single elimination bracket on Sunday, March 10th.
The action resumes today, March 8th at 11:00 CET with Group B. Vici Gaming will take on Demolition Boys (ex-Playmakers/Team ODD) followed by Gambit Esports going head to head with BOOM ID.
