Gambit returns to Dota 2 scene after a few months hiatus by picking up the new CIS squad ferzee.

At the end of June 2018, Gambit dropped their Dota 2 roster and took a break from the competitive scene. Following the post TI shuffle, a new CIS team took the region by storm.

The squad named ferzee had claimed the second spot allocated to the CIS region for The Kuala Lumpur Major. Their battle was brutal in the finals, but they outlasted their opponents  - Team Spirit after a 1:59:31 match with 165 kills. This became the 9th longest game in professional Dota 2 history and the 2nd most kills for a single game. When it was all done, ferzee made a reputable name for themselves.

It wasn't long after that, the team took second place in the Reshuffle Madness online tournament.

With a promising future and solid early results, Gambit has picked up the squad to play under the star banner for the region. Fans can catch the team in action playing for Maincast's $80,000 prize pool Autumn Brawl and GG.Bet Invitational 1, both ongoing now.

Russia   Andrey "Afoninje" Afonin
Russia  Vasily "AfterLife" Shishkin
