UPDATE: Hellraisers have confirmed the move on their website, stating that the team will represent their brand at The International. Going forward, it remains to be seen if the move is permanent, or simply for the duration of the event.
Planet Dog, formerly Prodota Gaming, will play at TI7 under the Hellraisers banner.
After winning their spot at the upcoming International 2017 through the second EU Open qualifier, the former Prodota Gaming (PD) roster are set to play under the Hellraisers banner according to a Twitter post by Wykrhm Reddy:
Around two months ago, the former Prodota Gaming roster was dropped prior to the TI7 qualifiers, citing inter-team dynamics and issues with the organization as having reached a tipping point. Whilst Ylli 'Garter' Ramadani chose to remain as part of the organization, the rest of the PD roster parted ways and formed Planet Dog only a day after leaving, adding former Elements Pro Gaming, Uros 'Swiftending' Galic to complete their roster.
Planet Dog went on to compete in the TI7 EU open qualifiers - falling to Jonathan 'Loda' Berg's stack Cool Beans in the grand finals of the first round of qualifiers before seizing their place in the second set. The team then went on to be the dark horse of the main TI7 qualifiers - upsetting Mousesports 3:1 in the grand finals to punch their ticket to Seattle.
Hellraisers - a well known CIS organization had not been in the Dota 2 pro scene for over a year now, after freezing their DOTA2 roster at the end of March last year due to poor results including failing to qualify for the Shanghai Major.
Accordingly, the roster is as follows:
Planet Dog/ Hellraisers
Uros 'Swiftending' Galic
Greg 'Keyser' Kallianiotis
Neta '33' Shapira
Milan 'MiLAN' Kozomora
Alexei 'j4' Lipai
