With the group stage announcement ESL One has also released the names of the English broadcast team that will be present at Genting Highlands resort in Malaysia from 6th to 8th of January 2017.
A lot of familiar faces for an ESL One event are on the talent list, including Paul 'ReDeYe' Chaloner, who made his Dota 2 debut at ESL One Frankfurt 2015. ReDeYe will be the host for the desk panel while the stage will be taken by Eri 'Eri' Neeman who has won not only the hearts of the local fans at ESL One Manila, but also received a warm welcome from the European crowd at ESL One Frankfurt 2016.
The ESL One Genting event has the entertaining department figured out as Jake 'SirActionSlacks' Kanner is also on the talent list. Running official interviews, special video content and making sure everyone will vote for the Macho Man contest, SirActionSlacks is the endless source of entertainment at every event he attends, so we expect nothing less from him. To balance the seriousness with the fun part, ESL One has included Kevin 'Purge' Godec on the broadcast team. The extremely sharp analyst and famous now for his post-game "Purge Segments" from TI 6 and Boston Major, Purge will be part of the commentating team.
