Our day 2 coverage starts here with round 10-12:

Round 10

Team Secret vs. Cloud9: 1-0

Team Secret opts for a Techies offlane, which Cloud9 manages to kill quite often. In return however, the movement from Secret across the map was spot on and secured early kills and advantages for Arteezy and s4. Secret turned kills into objectives whereas C9 got pressured back into their base. Together with Techies Mines and Bombs, Secret was able to keep control of the map and C9 eventually fell to the huge disadvantage.

HyperGloryTeam vs. Big God: 1-0

The teams selected two completely different strategies, with Big God going for mid-game teamfights and HGT focusing on early game domination. Through proper execution and early successful ganks, HGT managed to grab an immense lead. The presence of Ice Blast and Ravage in BG's arsenal helped defend the barracks for quite some time, but a 3-2 teamfight by minute 27 allowed HGT to breach the Dire base and finish the game.

Invictus Gaming vs. Vici Gaming: 0-1

IG opted for an aggressive early game support duo in order to counter VG's Shadow Fiend and Terrorblade. However, VG's reaction to the continuous gank attempts was spot-on, allowing both Black and Super to find their desired amount of farm. While the two teams were dead even in terms of kills, a sloppy teamfight by iG 24 minutes into the game cost them the entire game, as an untimely death by Luo allowed Black's Terrorblade to wreak havoc on iG's middle barracks and force the GG.

Round 11

EHOME vs. Hellraisers: 1-0

HellRaisers was once again the aggressor and pressured EHOME a lot, grabbing an early advantage that would give the team the edge in the game. The Russians however failed to make it count as they pushed too aggressively, diving deep for kills instead of securing objectives. EHOME picked a very punishing line-up with a Medusa and a support Wraith King and the longer the game went on, the more farmed the Chinese got. Hellraisers eventually threw themselves at the rax and the enemies, trying to make the best out of it but it was not enough as EHOME was able to punish HR and take the win.

NewBee vs. Rave: 0-1

Rave picks up a very aggressive line-up that NewBee could not deal with. Rave's signature Slark was able to snowball and NewBee's Morphling was unable to come online quickly enough to deal with the aggression from the Korean based team.

CDEC Gaming vs. Natus Vincere: 0-1

Na'Vi grab an early lead as their Troll+Magnus combo is not only able to farm, but they also manage to transition from kills to objectives quite easily. The Ukrainians however give away their lead and a back and forth ensues with multiple teamfights in which both teams manage to trade equally most of the time. Despite multiple missed ultis from Na'Vi's side, Xboct's farm proved to be too much to handle and megacreeps spelled doom for CDEC.

Round 12

MVP Phoenix vs. Tongfu

MVP deployed a greedy tri-core lineup against Tongfu, hoping to survive the early game weakness and take the game late. However, the massive damage coming out of Bristleback and Juggernaut was too much to handle, especially combined with Batrider's Blink initiation. While MVP did show some signs of life thanks to forEv's plays, they just did not have the time to get strong enough and survive Tongfu's persistent pushes.

Invictus gaming vs. Evil Geniuses

While iG based their whole strategy around Ferrari's Spectre, EG decided to go for a nuke-based lineup with heroes like Zeus, Earthshaker and Lion. The Americans had a very solid early game, and they completely shut down Luo's Batrider, delaying his item progression significantly. Both Fear's Bone Fletcher and SumaiL's Zeus managed to snowball very fast, and Spectre's Radiance was still not enough to save iG from another crushing defeat.

Vici Gaming vs. LGD

ViCi decided to go full-on physical damage with Slark and Juggernaut buffed by Magnus and Wisp against LGD's four-protect-one strategy. The early game snowball potential of VG allowed both Black and iceiceice to get strong really fast, eventually trapping LGD inside their own base with their continuous roaming. While a fight by minute 35 allowed VG to destroy the top barracks, several consecutive sloppy attempts to finish the game allowed LGD to stage a miraculous comeback. With a Rapier Medusa on their side, the Dire pushed and took a lane of barracks themselves, and then proceeded to destroy the Ancient as well.
