UPDATE: Meracle and First Departure unable to attend The Summit 2

*UPDATE*

Meracle has tweeted that he will be unable to attend the lan finals held in LA; this is most likely due to the denial of his request for absence. With this development, First Departure will be unable to play in The Summit 2 as a total of two members are unavailable, with Poloson also dropping out. Invasion would be the replacement team, but only if they could secure visas in time.

Original Newspost

Recently there has been new and rumors about the possibility of First Departure pulling out of The Summit 2 due to some of the players on First Departure being unable to take time off to travel to take part in the lan finals held in LA. We talk to their manager to find out more.

First Departure are currently struggling to be able to send all five of their players to LA. After talking to Bryan 'Jupi' Koay, First Departure's manager, we learnt that Wilson 'Poloson' Koh Chin will be unable to travel to the BTS house in LA after his request for absence was denied by his school and Galvin 'Meracle' Kang Jian Wen, who is currently serving National Service, is awaiting a reply from his Superiors for his absence application. As for the others, they will be able to attend.

Meracle is expected to receive a reply regarding his absence application tomorrow evening (+8 GMT). In the event that Meracle gets approval, First Departure will proceed to play in The Summit 2 lan finals with a stand-in. But if Meracle's absence application gets denied, First Departure will pull out of the tournament.

Invasion eSports, as the second place team, has been named as the team to replace First Departure in the event of them pulling out and are currently applying for Visas to the US. Only time will tell whether the First Departure will be able to make it to the lan finals.
