Sixteen teams with fight it out for the $10,000 prize pool.
UCC and case opening site GOCASE.pro have announced the GOCASE Challenge with a $10,000 prize pool to take place over the course of the next month.
The open qualifiers will take place on April 13, where the first and second place teams will move on to Stage 2. A second qualifier will be open to GOCASE.PRO users two days later, of which the top two teams will also move on.
From there, there will be a tournament for the four teams who made it through the qualifiers and 12 invited teams. After a series of Swiss-format matches take place from April 16-23, the top eight teams will move onto the final stage, where there will be a single elimination, best of three match tournament from May 1-5.
Thus far, invited teams include Singularity, Euronics Gaming, LDLC, Enyoy, AVANGAR, Movistar Riders, Noreg, Red Reserved and four more teams yet to be announced.
The winner will take home $6,000 while second place grabs $2,500. Third gets $1,000 while fourth receives $500.
