Team Vitality's new star duo of ZywOo and ropz will be one to look out for this year.
Team Vitality are set to field one of the most formidable Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) rosters in 2025 with the addition of Estonian star rifler 
Robin “ropz” Kool, giving superstar AWPer 
Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut his best teammate yet. Ropz will be replacing 
Lotan “Spinx” Giladi, who was benched by Vitality shortly before the organisation announced the signing of Ropz.
Ropz joins Vitality after three fruitful years with 
FaZe Clan, who notably replaced him with Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski. Under the FaZe banner, ropz won the PGL Major Antwerp in 2022 as well as eight other S-Tier tournaments. In 2024, ropz helped FaZe reach the grand finals of the Copenhagen and Shanghai Majors as well as claim victory in Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Chengdu 2024. Ropz's last hurrah with FaZe in the Shanghai Major notably saw the rifler put up stellar performances all throughout the Playoffs, culminating in a narrow loss to Team Spirit in the grand finals.
For his efforts, ropz was notably listed as the 18th best player in HLTV's Top 20 list of CS2 players of 2024. This marked the seventh time that ropz was inducted in HLTV's annual list of Top 20 CS players, peaking in third in 2023.
Meanwhile, Vitality will be looking to emulate their dominant performance in 2023 with the addition of ropz after a relatively quiet showing in 2024. Despite another world-class year by ZywOo, Vitality only won one tournament last year in IEM Cologne 2024. The French team also placed second in ESL Pro League Season 19 and IEM Dallas 2024; 3rd-4th in the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, the BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024, and the BLAST Premier: World Final 2024; 5th-6th in IEM Rio 2024; and 5th-8th in the Esports World Cup 2024, ESL Pro League Season 20, and the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.
Vitality's new-look roster with ropz is set to make their debut in the Closed Qualifier for BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 next Tuesday (January 14).
