StarLadder have revealed additional information regarding the European, American and Chinese qualifiers for the $300,000 prize pool event.
StarLadder announce further details regarding qualifiers for the recently announce StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3. The tournament will be host to three regional qualifiers: Europe, Americas and China. The three qualifiers will take place one after another, with the European qualifier scheduled to start on February 10th, after which the Americas qualifier will commence, running until mid-March, concluded by the Chinese qualifiers, scheduled for the 21st of February with the finals taking place on the 28th. Teams that pass the qualifying process will join direct invitees at the Palace "Ukraine" to fight for their fair share of the $300,000 prize pool. A total of eight teams will advance to the LAN finals: three from Europe, three from China and two from the Americas.
There are minor discrepancies between the European and American and the Chinese qualifiers, with details found below:
Europe & Americas - 3 LAN spots and 2 LAN spots respectively
Both qualifiers will commence at the group stage, hosting a round robin format and best-of-three matches. Sixteen teams will be split into four groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the playoff stage of the qualifier. During the playoffs, the eight qualified teams will be joined by eight invited teams in a single elimination, best-of-three bracket, where the top teams will advance to the LAN finals hosted in Kiev, Ukraine.

The format for the Chinese qualifier will be different from the European and American, as we'll see a double-elimination format during the group stage, with initial and winner matches played with a best-of-one format. The top two contenders from each of the groups will advance to the playoffs stage, where they'll traverse through single elimination match-ups.
