The American organisation known for their aggressive recruiting tactics has signed the Brazilian squad of ex-KeyD Stars.
It is no surprise that the Brazilian team of ex-KeyD has managed to find a new "home" so quickly. They will be attending ESL Cologne in just a few weeks time as one of the Legends teams, but the roster has been without an organisation for about a week.
The team was previously rumored to be in talks with organisations like iBUYPOWER or compLexity, however, in the end they decided to sign with Luminosity Gaming. The team will also be bringing in a coach. Coaching them will be, Gabriel "Fallen" Toledo's ex-teammate from their days in 1.6, Renato "nak" Nakano.
The team is also set to bootcamp before the major at the ESC bootcamp house in Cologne, Garmany, from August 8th-18th. The team also plans to do daily streams of their bootcamp.
This move, however, puts the current Luminotisy Gaming roster in quite a predicament as they are set to attend the North American ESL Cologne LAN qualifiers on 1st-2nd next month, Burbank, California. The team has decided to play under the Mythic teamtag and LG assures that they're activly looking for a new "home" for the squad.
Luminosity released a following statement regarding the current roaster's situation:
The new Luminosity Gaming line-up consists of:
Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo
Fernando "fer" Alvarenga
Lucas "steel" Lopes
Ricardo "boltz" Prass
Marcelo "cold" David
Renato "nak" Nakano (coach)
