DSG announces new roster

Disguised marks its comeback in the Valorant scene as DisguisedToast announce a new VCT Game Changers roster.

Popular streamer and content creator Jeremy “DisguisedToast” Wang announced the new VALORANT roster of DSG. They will participate in the second VALORANT Game Changers Open Qualifiers on June 13, Thursday.

The team debuted in the VALORANT NA Team Deathmatch Showcase featuring a $25,000 prize pool. DSG went against Team Keeoh in a best-of-three series in the semifinals but their run was cut short. Team Keeoh eliminated DSG in a neat 2-0 fashion.

DSG’s previous Game Changer roster included popular streamers and content creators. Kyedae Alicia "Kyedae" Shymko, Jodi "QuarterJade" Lee, Sydney "Sydeon" Parker, Tenzin "tenzin" Dolkar, and Lydia "tupperware" Wilson played under the DSG banner first. Fans immediately doubted the lineup because tupperware is the only player who has prior experience at a professional level.

The team clocked in a significant amount of viewership during the event but failed to qualify. After a week, DSG dropped the roster.

DisguisedToast has opened his struggles publicly about creating business in the professional esports scene. His esports project is on track to spend $1 million this year and he is way far to making a profit out of this venture.

He even shared a piece of shocking news to the community that esports organizations are either broke or going broke. “Trust me when I say: Everyone is losing a lot of money. A lot of people are being fired. No org is safe right now,” DisguisedToast told fans. However, this did not stop him to continue his esports project.

To lessen the financial burden, DisguisedToast recently launched a Patreon for fans to support DSG. For $5 per month, DSG “investors” will have access to DSG’s exclusive Discord community, updates behind the scenes from DisguisedToast, and the financial breakdown of the organization.

All funds will go directly to the players and staff. As of this writing, there are a total of 1,714 DSG Patreon members.
