A crossover between Wuthering Waves and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is on the horizon, with more details set to arrive soon.
Kuro Games has confirmed that Wuthering Waves will have a collab with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners in 2026. The crossover was announced during the game’s anniversary broadcast on 19 April, 2025, shortly before the launch of Wuthering Waves Version 2.3, which goes live on 29 April, 2025. That date also marks the game’s Steam release. Already available on Android, iOS, and PlayStation 5, the open-world action RPG is set to expand its reach with a major update.
What to expect from the collab
While Kuro Games has not shared more details yet, the developers teased that “characters from Night City will step into Solaris.” Some players are already guessing that Edgerunners leads Lucy and David Martinez could become playable characters in the game. Others think that the 3.0 patch cycle might include a new area inspired by Night City.
Both Kuro Games and the producers of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners have confirmed that more information is on the way. The collab is scheduled for 2026, but exact details and dates are yet to be unveiled.
This isn’t the first time that a gacha game has had a crossover with other games and fandoms. Genshin Impact previously added Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn, and Honkai Star Rail is releasing a Fate Stay Night collab sometime within the year.
Meanwhile, CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk IP continues to grow with another animated spinoff underway, alongside a live-action project based on Cyberpunk 2077. On top of that, development of Project Orion, the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 that may include multiplayer features, is still on track. The Cyberpunk devs have also partnered with mobile-games giant Scopely for a mobile game, which could potentially be a mobile version of either its Witcher or Cyberpunk IPs.
