This comes after missing out on the partnership program.
FaZe Clan has finalised their roster for Split 1 of the North American VALORANT Challengers League, bringing in a new member in the form of Daniel "Rossy" Abedrabbo. This also includes the return of Phat "supamen" Le and Quan "dicey" Tran to the active roster. They will join up with the remaining active members of the squad, Andrej "babybay" Francisty and Kevin "poised" Ngo.
Rossy joins the squad after leaving The Nation, a free-agent team that narrowly missed qualification for the North American VCL Qualifiers. Before that, he also spent time with both TSM and Immortals, thus building up his reputation within the NA region. His addition to the FaZe squad will be crucial, given how the team finished last season.
Having ended in third-place for the North American LCQs for VALORANT Champions, the org was denied acceptance into the partnership program. With that, FaZe moved all of its players into its inactive roster but it has now been all put together. However, they're opening match against G2 still left something to be desired.
The team started off strong against G2 on Fracture, claiming 13 rounds to five. However, the next two games saw G2 take control on both Icebox and Haven, leaving FaZe to only pick up a handful of wins on both maps. While the team is still relatively new in gelling together effectively, it does seem that it is heading in the right direction. FaZe's next match is against BreakThru, one of the team's that made it through the open qualifiers.
