A new Overwatch skin concept finally reimagines Reinhardt as a Gundam, and it looks just as awesome as it sounds.
Gundam is basically the godfather of the giant robot trope in anime. The first series, 'Mobile Suit Gundam,' was originally released in 1979, over 30 years ago.
Since then the series has become one of the most recognizable and successful animes ever and, as it turns out, a perfect Reinhardt skin as well.
Overwatch fan and concept artist Salvatore Tabbi is the mastermind behind Gundam Reinhardt and just from these sketches, it looks like it would be an incredibly awesome skin to rock in a match.
