Despite putting Bomber and Life on the line, StarTale were unable to get their third win in a row and fall to Azubu, who are now on a 8-1 streak.

Both teams came from outstanding results in week three. Thanks to Life's triple kill, StarTale were able to overcome Prime with 4-2 while Azubu had even greater success, enjoying a 4-0 all-kill by Ganzi against NSHoSeo.

Thus, expectations were high for today's match and the opening ZvTs did not disappoint. Symbol faced Hack in game one and the two played an equal match up to the point Hack entered a perfect Zerg flank and was wiped clean. A baneling bust followed to break through Terran's wall and Azubu took the early lead.

A slightly longer ZvT followed as StarTale selected Bomber and StarStation for game two. The Terran went for bio/mine composition as it is the standard these days but his first pushes were executed somewhat poorly, losing precious widow mines before they can engage. Capitalizing on this mistake, Symbol took banelings and mutas to Bomber's third and took it down, putting the Terran in ever direr straits.

Bomber still found a way to spring back, however, and after cleaning all of the mutas with a marine squad and later severely supply-blocking Symbol, he was able to push out and take Zerg's third, making up for the supply deficit in the meanwhile. But Symbol's swarms were seemingly endless and Bomber understood that the second he regrouped for another push. Using banelings to clear the bio and mutas to snipe precious medivacs and widow mines, Symbol easily broke Bomber's bones, securing a 2-0 for Azubu.

Down two games, StarTale had to mach a difficult choice on their next player - it was too early in the set to send in the big guns but compromising with a lesser name could mean a potential third loss and being one game away from elimination.

Life quickly disposed of the Symbol problem by pushing the game to the spire stage, denying Symbol's third and winning the mutalisk wars but what happened next was not expected by anyone.

Azubu sent forth San, a somewhat questionable decision considering the difference in power level between him and Life and the presence of other prominent names in the roster like Violet and Ganzi. Nevertheless, San proved he's been selected for a reason. The Protoss took a defensive posture against Life's roach/hydra 3-base aggression and held his ground well, teching to void rays and colossi and gearing for a counter-punch that would end Life.

One dead Zerg was not enough for San however and he gladly accepted StarTake's final challenge - Curious. Taking a similar approach once again, San remained more or less on the offensive, awaiting for Curious' plan to come to him. Said plan consisted of a huge gas stockpile (accumulated by building lings and queens in the mid game) that was converted in a maxed-out ultralisk army and for a few seconds it looked majestically and unstoppable.

That proved to be not the case as ultras and queens alike crashed into San's wall-off, the Protoss gladly accepting the offering. A counter push was the last thing San did and Azubu prevailed with a 4-.
