Blaze, Sword, TSM and Dignitas - to many it is no surprise that this is in fact how the WB semi finals look like after the first day of competition.
Counter Logic Gaming NA versus NaJin Sword is unfortunately more of a stomp than some of us suspected it would be. The Doubledoco duo extraordinaire did not manage to pull off a great showing and it was clear to tell that all of the roster playing unfamiliar roles made for a weak presentation by CLG today. NaJin sword, on the other hand, was on top of their game, presenting game-winning dives and utter confidence, taking the series in a decisive 2-0 victory.
Dynamic vs. Azubu was also a lost cause for Dynamic, though they lived up to their name playing a mid Gangplank with Tiamat. Unfortunately, the game was not streamed or surely it would have put on a good show. Word has it it was more even than one would suspect, and they gave Azubu Blaze a run for their money in both games! Alas, Azubu took the series 2.0
TSM vs. Curse NA was nail-bitingly close, with constant aggression being passed back and forth. NyJacky played incredibly well both games and Westrice had a killer Jax in game 2. In Game 3, TSM just got too far ahead and though well fought, TSM went on to the Semi Finals in the Winner's Bracket 2-1.
Dignitas vs. CLG.EU was another set everyone suspected to be one-sided. Little did everyone know, Dignitas would be putting up one hell of a fight, even taking the first game of the series and very nearly the second as well. Curse wasn't having any of that though and brought it to Game 3.
