Kalea will be released on 19 March and can be acquired for free for a limited time.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) has announced the addition of a Kalea to the game's ever-growing lineup of heroes. Kalea specialises in close combat and single-target crowd control, making her a very disruptive hero that can excel in teamfights.
Kalea will be available to players starting on 19 March, with players able to get the hero for free starting from her release date to 1 April. Kalea's Hero Pass can also be unlocked with a combination of Battle Points and Diamonds or entirely by Diamonds. Players who purchase the Hero Pass will receive a full refund after logging in for 21 days during the event. However, if the pass is purchased with a mix of Battle Points and Diamonds, only the Diamonds will be refunded.
MLBB developer MOONTON Games said in a press release that every detail of Kalea celebrates island life. Her design embodies the powerful spirit of the sea and is inspired by Southeast Asian folklore. Her aquamarine colour palette also pays tribute to the region's coastal waters, while her island folklore backstory reflects her connection to the region's cultural and natural heritage.

Kalea will be the 128th hero to be added to MLBB's expansive roster of heroes after Lukas. While the game features her as a support, she plays more like a support-fighter hybrid thanks to her crowd control skills against opponents and her ability to heal allies. Her best trait is her engage and follow-up, which can be devastating in teamfights.
Kalea can be obtained for free starting 19 March after downloading and installing the newest patch.
