Team Liquid ID and RRQ Hoshi, defeated both their opponents to secure an upper bracket final slot and one step closer to the M6 World Championship slot.
Team Liquid vs Bigetron Alpha
Bigetron Alpha, high on momentum, met with Team Liquid ID, the runner-up of the regular season, in the first game of the upper bracket. Team Liquid ID struck first, albeit not convincingly, with their hyper-offensive lineup against Bigetron Alpha in the first two games to secure both.
However, the red android didn’t let things go their opponent's way as they mounted a comeback with a team-fight-oriented lineup using Khaleed as the EXP laner to soak the damage in game 3. The plan worked as Team Liquid ID couldn’t expand their gameplay freely. Bigetron Alpha also won game 4 with a stellar performance on Mathilda by Kyy.
In the last game, Things went stalemate as Team Liquid got the advantage in Gold but couldn’t breach Bigetron Alpha’s defence. However, one bad mistake opened up a way for Team Liquid ID to secure the final game and a slot in the upper bracket final.

RRQ Hoshi vs Geek Fam ID
If the previous series was a five-game-thriller, the next one was equally the same as RRQ Hoshi and Geek Fam ID battled each other into a bloody pulp. The fam was on top of their game after eliminating Fnatic ONIC from the tournament with their 3-2, almost 4-hour win over them. Meanwhile, RRQ Hoshi was the regular season winner with their 13-3 stellar performance in the league.
In game 1, the King of Kings proved why they are worthy to take home the regular season title. They took a win with a stellar performance on a pick-off composition using Franco and Ling combo. However, The second game was a different case altogether when Geek Fam used the dreaded Suyou and Thamuz as the EXP Laner. It resulted in a 1-1 stalemate coming into the break.

For the last two games, it was all RRQ as they found an answer to Geek Fam’s strong defence – Irithel was picked for the second and third time across the tournament. Ultimately, the Kings won the series 3-1 to finish the second day and secure an upper bracket slot.
MPL Indonesia Season 14 will continue with a couple of series. Bigetron Alpha and Geek Fam will battle in the lower bracket for their tournament lives. In the upper bracket final, Team Liquid ID will face RRQ Hoshi for a slot in the grand final and the coveted M6 World Championship slot.
