The 2024 Esports Awards has ended with Mobile Legends taking Esports Mobile Game of The Year in the event. But who were the other winners?
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang successfully took home the Esports Mobile Game of The Year at The 2024 Esports Awards. The MOONTON Games IP overcame seven other titles to win the awards nominations at the 2024 iteration.
This is the second time in a row that Mobile Legends got the awards. However, besides being nominated in the Mobile Game of The Year section, the game was also one of the Esports Game of The Year's finalists.
Ray Ng, Head of Esports Ecosystem at MOONTON Games, said:
"It's really an honour to be here. On behalf of MOONTON Games and MLBB, I'd like to thank our community, esports teams, organisers, and partners who believe in what we're building. Without you, there will be no MLBB Esports. We continue to build an open ecosystem which is diverse, inclusive, and competitive to bring the best experience for our players and fans around the world."
He added:
"But we do not stop here. We have a slew of exciting esports events taking place in the second half of this calendar year, such as the M6 World Championship, our flagship international MLBB Esports tournament, and the third edition of the M Summit, our annual closed-door industry conference, in Malaysia. Please continue to support us as we strive to deliver even bigger, better things. Onwards and upwards!"
The awarding night was the penultimate night of The Esports World Cup series, in which Mobile Legends: Bang Bang successfully hosted two tournaments. They were the Mid-Season Cup 2024 and The MLBB Women Invitational 2024. Both tournaments were the most popular iteration of the events.
However, The 2024 Esports Awards were much bigger than the mobile esports awards. It has fifteen awards spread between individuals, brands, and organisations. Here are all the winners from the 2024 Esports Awards:
