BloodThirsty Kings secure a spot at MSC 2024

North America’s Challenger Tournament ends with BloodThirsty Kings securing their spot in the Mobile Legends Mid Season Cup 2024.

As we continue to countdown to MSC 2024, more and more teams are starting to qualify for both the main event and the Wild Card Tournament. This most recent weekend saw the NACT Spring 2024 event culminate in a magnificent grand final between two teams that are no strangers to one another. On one side was MobaZane’s BloodThirsty Kings, while the other would be his ex-teammates now fighting under the Gaimin Gladiators banner. With such an epic history between the players on either team, it was expected that we would have an intense series on our hands.

While BTK won the team’s first head-to-head during the Regular Season, GG looked the better team across the board, losing only that single series the entire time. When it came to playoffs, both teams proved their dominance as they marched into the upper bracket finals unbeaten – where it was GG who triumphed in spectacular fashion, but this would not be the last time the teams would meet.

In the Lower Bracket finals, BTK faced off against Area 77, a team featuring three Philippines players, making the battle much tougher than anyone expected. Having gone two games down, A77 mounted a strong comeback to tie the series, before the experience of BTK shone through with a swift final game – as they moved onto the grand final to face off against their rivals, GG. In a full seven-game series, where both teams were evenly matched, BTK managed to hold on and eventually take a 4-3 victory.

The victory means that not only did BTK become the champions of NACT Spring 2024, but they also secured their spot at their first international Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament since the M3 World Championships. Having come third then, everyone is on edge to see if the new BTK roster can cause some huge upsets, especially with MobaZane on the roster.
