Alter Ego announce their roster, where's Celiboy?

Alter Ego announces their roster for MPL Indonesia Season 13, but no Celiboy in the lineup.

Indonesian powerhouse Alter Ego announces their roster for MPL Indonesia Season 13. Former EVOS Legends player Tazz is confirmed to be one of the new players for Alter Ego in the upcoming season. Besides the midlaner, three other players also joined the team. They are Cr1te from EVOS Legends, RoundeL from MDL's team Hasbih Esports, and Haizz from Rebellion Zion.

However, one name from the new Alter Ego is missing: the prodigal son, Celiboy. The genius midlaner is noticeably not included in the new lineup. The player is rumored to have taken an indefinite break following his marriage to one of ONIC's members, Kharisma "Kayes" Cahaya Putri.

Only one player is promoted from the developmental team of Alter Ego, which is Rio “Munsters” Mahendra. The player is a standout in MDL Season 9.

Besides the new players, there is only one change from the new coaching staff of Alter Ego. Ronaldo "Aldo" Lieberth, former ONIC Esports and Bigetron Alpha head coach, is taking the reins for the new lineup.

Former coach Caesius moved to the inactive roster, including Celiboy and Ahmad. This is the current Alter Ego lineup:

  1. Rafly “Pai”Alvareza Sudrajat
  2. Rasya “Rasy” Arga Wisita
  3. Syauki “Nino” Fauzan Sumarno
  4. Gustian "Rekt"
  5. Darrel “Tazz” Jovanco Wijaya
  6. Dhannya “Haizz” Posa Hoputra
  7. Muhammad “Cr1te” Nur Efandy Yusuf
  8. Faiskal “RoundeL” Khadafi
  9. Rio “Munsters” Mahendra

Other names missing from the team are Raizel, the returnee from HomeBois, and Leomurphy, who has been inactive since last season. Both of the players are released by Alter Ego prior to the announcement of the new roster.

This new lineup for Alter Ego is born after a disappointing campaign from the Indonesian team. For the first time since MPL became a franchise league, the team wasn't qualified for knockout stages and finished eighth place in the tournament.

It's interesting to see if the team will finish better in the upcoming season.
