After a few weeks without much going on in MLBB, this week sees some action as we still gear up for the M5 World Championship.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is heading towards the culmination of an amazing year of tournaments, with the M5 World Championship approaching quickly. But, before we get there, we have another tournament on the way, featuring some of the best teams from around the world – many of whom are heading to M5 itself. With that in mind, we look at the upcoming week for MLBB and review what’s in store for everyone.
MPL-I 2023
This week, from Wednesday, November 15th, 2023, we will see a total of 16 MLBB teams come together in the ONE Esports MPL Invitational. This event serves as a precursor to the M-Series and, often, many teams will use this as their last major practice session going forward – and even try out some new strategies too. However, the event stands on its own, and we have some amazing challengers winning it over the past few years. Unfortunately, for 2023, we will not see ONIC Esports attempting to take their third consecutive victory, as they decided to withdraw from the event. However, the competition will still be fierce, especially with the inclusion of North America, MENA, and China this year.

For more information on the MPL-I 2023, you can check out our page for the event, where will be keeping you up to date every day with news and results in the coming week. The event will take place from November 15th and run through until November 19th, when the champion will be crowned – and we begin the final countdown to M5.
M5 Wildcard
Although it may not begin this week, the M5 Wildcard is still on our mind, as it gets underway in just over a week – which means that we are getting ready for the final countdown, which will kick off as soon as the MPL-I 2023 reaches its culmination on Sunday. We will be looking closely at the Wildcard over the next week, breaking down each group and the chance each team has to reach the main event.
With the M5 main event and the Wildcard approaching, we have a lot to look forward to, but our main focus this week will be MPL-I 2023 to keep us going up until Sunday.
