Singapore’s representatives for the MLBB tournament at the 32nd SEA Games have been confirmed as RSG Slate SG get the nod.
In May of this year, nine teams from around Southeast Asia will descend upon Phnom Penh, the Capital city of Cambodia, ready to fight it out to become the champions of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang at the 32nd SEA Games. With the likes of Bren Esports fighting for the Philippines, Falcon Esports coming in from Myanmar, and a mix of some of the best Indonesian players from their respective regions, every region involved is putting its best foot forward – with Singapore being the latest to follow suit.

On March 18, 2023, the Singapore Games and Esports Association (SGEA) confirmed their selection of six talented MLBB players who would be heading to Cambodia to represent their region at the 32nd Southeast Asia Games. Previously it would always be mainly players from EVOS Singapore who were chosen, considering the team’s dominant performances within the MPL SG events. However, since last year, RSG have been on the front foot, and the players have now been rewarded as they get the chance to take their region to the top. While some regions add players from different teams, Singapore’s choice has been to throw in six RSG Slate SG players – who are already in fantastic form.
Jaime Cruz, the Esports Lead for MOONTON Games Singapore had the following to say on the team choice,
We’re very excited to witness Singapore representatives compete at the 32nd SEA Games. The team has shown great promise at regional and international MLBB tournaments, and I am confident in their ability to bring home the gold.”
The 32nd SEA Games begins on May 5th, 2023, with the MLBB event occurring from May 12th through to 14th. With so many amazing players from some of the absolute best teams from across SEA, the event is sure to be magnificent, as teams try to finally put a stop to Philippine’s constantly taking home the Gold.
