Nebulous Esports: The Kings of GCS March 2024

GosuGamers has been putting a lot of time into MLBB, and this year has seen the beginnings of our GCS, a tournament focused on the community in the Philippines.

As we continue to see Mobile Legends: Bang Bang grow to immense heights, our team here at GosuGamers has been trying to keep up at every turn. In 2024, we have worked hard to find new ways to engage with the massive MLBB community, and one of these ways is the Gosu Community Series – a tournament focused on finding players in the Philippines community who excel at the game. So far, the response has been immense, and we have seen some epic players come through, one such team has been Nebulous Gaming, who gave us the opportunity to ask them a few questions about their MLBB careers.

Hi, can you tell us who you are and who are the members of your team?

Hi! My name is Mark Wilson Nargatan, also known as Kramson. I am the team captain of NEBULOUS ESPORTS, and I’m from Miagao, Iloilo. Our team is composed of six players:

  • Mark Wilson “Kramson” Nargatan
  • Ronel “Hiru.” Daliva – Gold Lane
  • Jansen “Sensen.” Naparato – Jungle
  • Bryan “Aria” Montealto – Roam
  • Christhaniel “Maendi” Montaño – EXP Lane
  • Louie Jay “LUVVI” Maglasang – Sixth man

How long have you all been playing MLBB?

As we can all recall, we have been playing since between early Season 1 and Season 5.

When did you start playing together as a team?

We started playing together in 2023, as we came together as a team all residing in Miagaoi, Iloilo. We aimed to be the top team in our municipality.

When it comes to GCS, what was it that inspired you to sign up?

We entered to compete, conquer formidable opponents, and earn recognition. It is an honour for us to be able to participate in a higher tournament league such as GCS. Aside from this, we also wanted to experience some unforgettable games and memories as a team.

What are the ranks of the players on the team?

All members of the squad have reached the highest rank – Mythical Immortal. But “Hiru.”, our gold laner prodigy is the one that has obtained the highest rank among us at around 350+ Stars.

When it comes to MLBB Esports, which team is your favourite and why?

My bias team is AP.Bren. They are strong, competitive, and have a seamless connection with each other – which can build greater communication that elevates their gameplay.

What has been your favourite part of the GCS, apart from winning it, of course?

The generous Diamond rewards and the chance to face off against competitive opponents.

Is this the first tournament the team has played in? If not, have you earned any other victories in the past?

Our team was able to participate in the monthly GCS Tournament since January 2024, where we consistently placed in the top 4 – before our championship victory in March. We have also participated in a few other MLBB tournaments in the past such as the MLBB Community Heroes event and other local ones too.

Do you have any favourite or preferred heroes which you would like to play more in ranked or competitive modes?

In terms of competitive mode, Faramis is the best hero to play, as he is an overpowered hero.

Are there heroes that you are tired of playing or seeing in your games, or even in the professional scene?

None. It is a big help to know the meta heroes as they are the key to victory.

Nebulous Esports were the champions of the GCS March 2024, and have been a team that has constantly featured in the event. We hope to see much more of them in the coming events as we encourage the community to get involved and show off their MLBB prowess whenever possible. We will keep looking out for more teams and players to feature from the GCS in the coming months, while also trying our best to engage with the MLBB community at major events throughout the year, so stay tuned for much more in the future.
