What are we watching this week - LPL Spring Split 2024

China is ready to do battle with the start of the LPL Spring Split.

Today will mark the start of day one in the first week of the LPL Spring Split, which are the last of the major regions to begin its campaign towards the Mid-Season Invitational. The LEC will also be ending its second week of matches tonight for its Winter Split to determine which teams are one step closer to making it to the playoffs.

Of course, there is also the second week of the LCK and LCS to look forward to, with the former resuming this Wednesday, January 24th while the latter will take place over the weekend. But for this week, all the focus will be on the LPL after its official X account posted its live-stream on YouTube with the announcement that “Broadcasts will be available every Thursday through Sunday.”

Many LPL fans have since taken to social media to voice their disdain, especially since the LPL has consistently been one of the top two regions for multiple seasons now. However, they soon shared a live-stream update for today's set of matches, which will start later in the day. And as it stands, the live broadcast is also available on Twitch.
