Only Jaximus has decided to call it quits with Fabbbyyy also allegedly on the way out of the team as well.
Phillip "Only Jaximus" Carter has announced yesterday that he will no longer focus his energy on playing League of Legends at a competitive level. As a result, he has opted out of Curse Academy and has instead decided to focus on streaming and going back to school. During his time on Curse Academy, the team has seen a first place finish in Amateur LCS as well as a second place finish in NESL Season VIII.
Just letting everyone know that I have quit Curse Academy as the mid laner and decided to pursue full time streaming and school once again. I'm sorry if this disappoints anyone but I really feel that I'm not good enough to go pro and the perks are really not worth it for me at this point. I'd much rather stream and enjoy playing League again because after all it is just a game.
Allegedly, Jovani "fabbbyyy" Guillen has stated on his stream that he may longer be participating in Curse Academy either -- more details to follow.
