Jang 'Cain' Nu-ri

The support player of Najin e-mFire Sword is nominated due to his super aggressive play that compliments the team of Najin Sword so well. Known heavily in Korea for his Sona and Leona play, this support player always manages to time his perfect Crescendo and Solar Flares that would give Najin Sword ample time to decimate the enemy team. With the korean scene starting to rise into the world of Professional League of Legends Cain has shown the world just how much a support can affect an entire game with just precision and timing.
Najin Sword in 2012 topped Azubu Blaze in the S2 Regional Finals - Seoul for 1st, placed a top 8 in the S2 World Championships, and achieved 2nd place in the 2012 MLG Fall Championships.

Hong ‘Madlife’ Min-gi

Azubu Frost’s insane support, who hosts an extremely large champion pool, is heavily regarded as one of the best supports in the world. Feared primarily for his Alistar for being able to completely zone out the enemy carries from teamfights, Madlife alone can change the entire course of a game once a teamfight comes along. Madlife has been known to host up to 9 champions to support as. His passive aggressive playstyle is to be feared as the enemy team never knows when Madlife will unleash the bull.
Azubu Frost in 2012 placed 1st in The Champions Summer 2012 , 2nd place in both S2 World Championships and The Champions Spring 2012.

Chen ‘MiSTakE’ Hui Chung

Captain and Support of Taipei Assassins, MiSTakE is easily heralded as one of the dominant supports in the Asian LoL scene. As TPA’s primary play caller MiSTakE has dominant map awareness and excels at getting down spot on plays. MiSTakE is known for playing aggressive champions like Janna , Zyra, and Nunu. The champions he chooses to play with all have immense pushing capabilities, which TPA utilizes to get some of the quickest tower control in the game. Using this advantage MiSTakE can utilize global objectives as meetup points that the enemy will have to engage on if they do not want to find themselves behind even further.
TPA in 2012 placed 1st in S2 World Championships, S2 Taiwanese Regional Finals, Garena Premier League S1, Starswar 7, and GPL S1 Opening Event.

Alex ‘Xpecial’ Chu

Xpecial is the extremely flexible support player of Team Solomid. Perhaps the most consistent support in the NA scene since joining TSM, Xpecial is truly somebody to watch out for in the NA scene. His mechanics, playstyle, and map awareness can all compete with asian teams. Xpecial is known for being able to play passive or aggressive and houses almost every single support in the game.
Throughout 2012 TSM has managed 1st place in S2 NA Regional Finals, IPL Face Off, MLG 2012 Spring Championship, and IPL4.

Ham ‘Lustboy’ Jang-sik

Lustboy is honestly one of the most feared supports in the scene of League of Legends. Playing for Azubu Blaze also happens to make you one of the most feared teams in the world. Lustboy’s super aggressive playstyle on supports such as Lulu, Sona, Zyra, or Blitzcrank makes him truly a force to be reckoned with. Heralded by Scarra as the number one Lulu player in the world Lustboy’s Lulu truly is capable of completely zoning an entire lane just by himself.
Azubu Blaze in 2012 has came first in 2012 MLG Fall Championships, MLG Summer Arena, and The Champions Spring 2012.

Steve ‘Chauster’ Chau

The play caller and former support of CLG Prime is none other than Chauster. Chauster is considered to be one of the wisest and most knowledgeable professional players in all of LoL. While Chauster may not have the best mechanics in the game he is without a doubt a player who can synergize extremely well with his AD carry. Chauster’s knowledge of the game makes his playstyle extremely versatile.
CLG Prime’s achievements in 2012 are a first place in the National ESL Pro Series Season 4 and second places in IPL4 and 2012 MLG Spring Championship.

Edward ‘GoSu Pepper’ Abgarian

GoSu Pepper is the support player of Moscow 5 BenQ. GoSu Pepper is known for playing Nunu as an aggressive support. GoSu Pepper initially played only Nunu and Sona for their heavy aggression but has slowly expanded to include Blitzcrank and Zyra as well. GoSu Pepper also was one of the first professional player to use Zyra as a support.
M5 in 2012 posted 1st places in The Siege, IEM VI - Kiev, IEM VI - World Championship, European Challenger Circuit: Poland, and S2 Regional Finals.

Mitch ‘Krepo’ Voorspoels

Scumbag Krepo of CLG.EU makes the list for his strong playstyle of man handling enemy lanes. Krepo is often known for his extremely strong Leona and Blitzcrank supports. Krepo’s aggressive playstyle usually nabs a few kills away from the ADC but his aggression is truly terrifying as it either forces enemies to fight or run. Near the end of season 2 Krepo also posted great results as Lulu and Sona to add to his further evolving list of aggressive supports.
CLG.EU recieved first in Lonestar Clash 2, Corsair Vengeance Cup, and Dreamhack Summer 2012.

Christoph ‘nRated’ Seitz

The newest addition to the season 1 champions, team FnaticRC is nRated. nRated plays a stellar aggressive support to help his AD’s get fed fast and easy. This young man loves his Crowd Control as well and primarily plays Zyra, Blitzcrank, and Leona. nRated’s aggressive plays allow snowballs to happen quickly with hyper carries and more often than not will bring a W for the team.
FnaticRC has managed first in THOR Open 2012 and Dreamhack Winter 2012, along with second places in IEM Season VII and IPL5.
