The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered's PC port will feature new content for No Return and several significant quality-of-life improvements.
Naughty Dogs announced that The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered's PC port will feature several significant quality-of-life improvements, especially regarding graphical fidelity and key binds for mouse and keyboards, plus new content for the No Return mode.
According to the official Naughty Dogs blog, The PC port of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will feature optimisation for PC with Nvidia DLSS 3 Super Resolution support, AMD FSR 3.1 and AMD FSR 4 support with upscaling and frame generation, VSync and framerate cap options, an uncapped framerate option, DirectStorage support, and support for Ultrawide monitors (in 21:9 ultra-wide, 32:9 super ultra-wide and 48:9 resolutions).
The port also has features designed specifically for PC, including adjustable Texture Quality, LOD Distance Range, Volumetric Quality, Shadow Quality, Ambient Occlusion, Reflections Quality, and more.

Keyboard and mouse control support includes full control remapping, primary and secondary bindings for keyboard and mouse control, an adaptive mode that allows players to combine keyboard and controller inputs, and more. The PC port will also feature full gamepad support, while DualSense controllers are supported and feature full haptic feedback.
New content for No Return mode
Besides the PC port optimisation, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered also features new content for No Return mode. This rougelike mode will have two new characters and four new maps.
Bill and Marlene from The Last of Us Part 1 will join the plethora of characters in this mode. Bill will have a “Smuggler” playstyle who can access a custom pump shotgun from dead drops, and receive double rewards from drops. He's stronger against melee attacks but can't dodge. Meanwhile, Marlene features a “Risk Taker” playstyle that includes a Custom Assault Rifle, “All or Nothing” gambits (a No Return only feature that gives players rewards with added risk), can reroute her No Return path once per run, and more.
With the launch of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, the No Return mode will add four new maps: Overlook, School, Streets, and Nest. All four maps will remind players of their journey when playing the game's story mode.
Besides the new No Return content, PC players who sign in with their account for PlayStation Network will also gain access to 50 in-game points to activate bonus features, as well as a new skin for Ellie featuring Jordan A. Mun’s jacket from Naughty Dogs new IP in development for PS5, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
PlayStation 5 players will also get the new content for No Return mode and Jordan's jacket alongside the 2.0.0 patch on the same day as the PC launch. The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered PC port will be released on 3 April, 2025.
