Honor of Kings' 2025 esports calendar will be kicking off at the end of January 2025.
Tencent has announced the 2025 Esports Calendar for Honor of Kings, which includes two regional league seasons. From the end of January 2025 to December 2025, Honor of Kings will have three types of tournaments, each catering to different types of players ranging from amateur to franchised teams.
The calendar starts with the grassroots-level competition, Honor of Kings Open Series Split 3, which will start at the end of January 2025 and span into April 2025. The competition is open for all teams from every region and will serve as the pathway for amateur teams to compete in the regional leagues or even the international stages.
The Honor of Kings Invitational will return for Season 3 in February 2025, lasting until early March 2025. If it follows the same format as this year, the best teams in their respective region will be invited to the tournament to determine who will be the world's best squad at the start of the calendar.
The calendar continues with the first league season for each region to determine who are the best teams in each region. This will possibly also determine which teams will receive a spot in the Honor of Kings x Esports World Cup event. This time, however, there will be two new leagues, the Major and Major West, which were already announced back at the Honor of Kings Championship 2024, that feature a new system.
The annual Honor of Kings x Esports World Cup event returns in the Summer of 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Interestingly, the tournament didn't include the midseason moniker like last year, being branded simply as HoK x EWC 2025.
Season Fall and the Open Series Split 4 follow HoK x EWC 2025, with the Major also returning for the season. This time, what follows them is the Honor of Kings Championship 2025, the pinnacle of Honor of Kings esports in 2025.
The Honor of Kings 2025 esports calendar will start with Honor of Kings Open Series Split 3 and end with Honor of Kings Championship 2025; which team will be the best next year?
