Genshin Impact is finally coming to the Xbox Series X|S

Genshin Impact will be made available for the Xbox on the 20th of November.

In an announcement during the Gamescom opening night live show, HoYoverse has revealed that Genshin Impact will finally be made available to the Xbox Series X|S.

Genshin Impact is currently up for preorder in a $9.99 bundle at Xbox’s official website, which includes bonus limited in-game items like Hero’s Wit x15 and Mystic Enhancement Ore x20.

The standard items included in the bundle are: Acquaint Fate x2, 150,000 Mora, Hero’s Wit x15, Mystic Enhancement Ore x20, and Rainbow Macarons x10. The items included in the bundle will be issued in-game after the game has officially launched on the new platform.

Meanwhile, the online multiplayer feature will be locked behind a purchase of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Game Pass Core.

The announcement comes in tandem with a showcase trailer of the major Version 5 update coming to Genshin Impact, which will feature the addition of the Natlan region to the map. The update will be released on the 28th of August, and will debut 3 new playable characters: Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina.

Genshin Impact’s version 5.0 will also include major QoL updates, a free standard 5 star selector, and rich rewards to celebrate the game’s upcoming 4th anniversary this 28 September.

With its upcoming release on the Xbox Series X|S, Genshin Impact will soon be available on almost every major gaming platform, including mobile, PC, and the PlayStation, with the only exception being the Nintendo Switch. While the game was announced to be released on that platform back in 2020, Genshin Impact’s Switch version has still yet to see the light of day.
