Star Wars Outlaws has unveiled its first two Season Pass DLCs, starring two familiar faces.
Ubisoft has released a post-launch roadmap for Star Wars Outlaws, which includes two Season Pass DLCs starring Lando Calrissian and Hondo Ohnaka. Lando first appeared in the original movie trilogy, while Hondo made his debut in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The Season Pass also contains an exclusive mission featuring Jabba the Hutt.
Ubisoft shares roadmap for Star Wars Outlaws DLC
Ubisoft generated some controversy earlier this year, when it revealed that Star Wars Outlaws would feature a Season Pass-exclusive Jabba the Hutt mission called Jabba’s Gambit. The developer later assured players that the infamous criminal kingpin would appear in the base game as well, but that might not be the case with Lando Calrissian and Hondo Ohnaka.
Both characters will feature in two upcoming story packs as part of Star Wars Outlaws’ Season Pass, the first of which is called ‘Wild Card’ and launches this fall. In this DLC, players will be hired to infiltrate a high-stakes Sabacc tournament - a playable card game - where they will also bump into Lando Calrissian. Wild Card will also contain new cosmetics for Kay Vess, Nix, Kay’s speeder and her ship.
The second Season Pass story DLC launches in spring next year, and it involves Kay running into the veteran pirate Hondo Ohnaka, who is looking to settle old scores with a gang of pirates. While both story DLCs are included in the Season Pass, Ubisoft has confirmed that they will also be available for purchase separately. At launch, Season Pass owners are also getting a Kessel Runner cosmetic pack and the aforementioned Jabba’s Gambit mission, which grants them an extra quest from the Hutt Cartel.
Star Wars Outlaws launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on August 30, 2024.
