The next Apex Legends collection event will be a special collaboration with Post Malone.
We're just a few days into season 19: Ignite and we already have word of the next upcoming collection event for Apex Legends, which will be in collaboration with hip-hop artist, Post Malone. Dubbed as “the biggest partnership in Apex Legends history”, the new collection event will start next Tuesday, November 7 and will go on for two weeks. There will also be a brand new Limited-Time Mode (LTM) map, Three Strikes and of course, an entire showcase of unique skins and cosmetics designed alongside the award-winning musician.
Post has been a big fan of Apex Legends for some time now as he first teased the collaboration on his X (formerly Twitter) account with the caption, “Get ready for two weeks of beautiful mayhem.” While it was still relatively vague, we now fully understand what he meant with the new LTM.
LTM - Three Strikes
Three Strikes will now give a squad three chances to become the last team standing. Players can still be knocked but cannot be killed as the entire squad must be wiped first. Only then will you be given your first strike and will respawn back into the map. You will respawn one POI away from your last death with your full loadout. This includes your current armour and EVO progression, weapons, and attachments (not including mythic weapons!), ammo, ordinances, and consumables.
And if you're into the cosmetics in Apex Legends, you'll be glad to know that the Apex Legends x Post Malone collection event will feature the very first “iconic” tier cosmetics. This will make it one tier above Legendary and one below Mythic. There will be a plethora of skins, stickers, and bundles available in the shop created in partnership with Post for some of his favourite legends. This includes popular picks like Octane, Wraith, Horizon, and even Lifeline.
Seasonal Rewards
The seasonal rewards shop will also feature a different set of prizes during the collection event that can be redeemed with the event currency: Camo Credits. Complete daily challenges to earn up to 285 Camo Credits to unlock event cosmetics. The Camo Credits can also be used for a limited amount of battle pass progression stars and even Ignite Sweepstake tokens. As there will only be 14 days available to earn Camo Credits, you won't be able to redeem all the rewards as well as max out the Sweepstake tokens so you will have to choose wisely.
Aside from the cosmetics, you can also stand a chance to unlock four unique variants of the Apex Legends x Post Malone Event badge by completing the challenges and earning currency throughout the 14-day event. There will also be exclusive Twitch drops on selected Apex Legends streamers to be earned during the event from November 7 – 21.
With the launch of season 19 just a few days ago with Conduit and an update to Storm Point, this will be one collection event that Respawn is hoping to bring in a new fanbase. As for Post, has also spoken of his love for the game in various interviews as well as hosting a special Apex Legends charity event on a livestream last year. Post has also been on popular Apex Legends live streams with various pros and content creators like former-pro-turned-streamer Brandon “aceu” Winn as well as ALGS Championship 2023 fourth-place IGL for The Dojo, Timothy “iiTzTimmy” An.
