Blacklist International enter the new competitive season with three new additions to their ranks.
Blacklist International missed the train to The International 2023 by getting swept 0-3 in the Southeast Asia qualifier grand finals by Team SMG. And while they had to watch the most important tournament of the year from home, they also had plenty of time to think about what adjustments could be made for the next competitive season. They were one of the very first teams to let go of some of their players, even before Ti12 was over in Seattle.

At the beginning of the month, they also parted ways with their captain, Carlo "Kuku" Palad, and are now one of the first tier one teams in the SEA region to reveal the new line-up.
Abed and Gabbi return to SEA
Perhaps the most exciting news for the SEA fans is Abed Yusop’s return home. He joins Blacklist International in the mid lane after spending the past four years in the US at Evil Geniuses and Shopify Rebellion.
Along with Abed, BLI are also bringing back home Kim "Gabbi" Santos who has briefly played in Western Europe through the last few months. He joined Entity ahead of the TI12 regional qualifiers and claimed one of the region’s tickets to Seattle. Unfortunately, for both Abed and Gabbi, the TI12 adventure finished in the first two rounds of the lower bracket, without a chance at playing on the Climate Pledge stage.
Moving forward, the two of them join forces in an attempt to take the Southeast Asia region by storm and take a straight path to TI2024.
