Officially passing the halfway mark of the DPC 2021-22 Season Tour 3, there are some teams we are keeping an eye on.
With the halfway point already passed, the DPC 2021-22 Season Tour 3 is heading into the final leg of the league play.
That means some teams have just a precious few games to pick up the slack and stage a comeback. Others will need to hold on to top spots to see their Major dreams come to fruition and perhaps an invite to The International 2022.
Teams hoping to stay top of the class
In WEU, Entity is sitting at the very top with an impressive 3:1 series (6:3 game) record. Technically they are tied in the first rank with three other teams; OG, Team Liquid, and Tundra Esports. OG and Tundra are currently slated for a TI invite (3rd and 9th place respectively) but not yet guaranteed. Team Liquid is sitting on the cusp in 13th place. A trip to the Major should secure them enough points to clinch the invite.
Entity is at 38th (sort of, since they are tied with all other teams) with 0 points awarded and earned so far. Holding on to their top spot and heading to the Major will be a full game changer for them and make a few players TI debutants.

Tundra EsportsJust a few days ago NAVI made a clean sweep through Outsiders. They are now sitting in the EEU top of the class, tied with BetBoom, formerly known as Winstrike, and Team Spirit.
The reigning TI champions, Team Spirit, are sitting in 8th place overall in the DPC with BetBoom close behind in 10th place. While a ticket to the Major should secure them their spot, it is Na'Vi who will benefit the most from staying on top.
The iconic Ukrainian team is sitting in 34th place with 41.67 points to their name. The only way an invite is coming is through a trip to Arlington, Texas.

Considering the impressive run they have had so far, it would be a hype moment to see them both secure a place at the Major. Potentially, they could also make a fantastic Cinderella Run there and at TI if they play their cards (and games) right.

It seems that TSM FTX isn't the only NA team that are giving the former giants of the region, Evil Geniuses and Quincy Crew a run for their money.
Nouns have made an impressive appearance this tour with an undefeated series record of 4:0 (8:3 game record) to assume the top rank.
They still have yet to secure any DPC points for the season, so a top finish and trip to the Major will do wonders for their overall ranking and momentum. Even more interesting, from a competitive point of view, is it would potentially keep Quincy Crew and Evil Geniuses from getting their invite (14 and 16th place currently overall).

PGL Dota 2 Major Arlington 2022 will take place between August 4 and 14 with a total of 18 teams fighting for a share of the $500,000 prize pool and the last shot at securing the much-needed Dota Pro Circuit points to lock themselves a spot at The International 2022.
