Team Nigma to play with Roman "rmN-" Paley instead of Ivan Borislavov "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov at ONE Esports Singapore Major due to COVID-19.
The ONE Esports Singapore Major Wild Card series is scheduled to begin in just three days. Unfortunately, more teams are reporting issues with being able to field a full roster for the event due to issues with Coronavirus positive tests.
Sometimes the stars just don't seem to align
Team Nigma barely squeaked by into the Singapore Major. Fortunately, they made a final push through the last two series by switching positions between Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi or Aliwi "w33" Omar which allowed them to at least secure their place in the Wild Card Series.
Now they will have to fight hard once again as they adjust to playing with their coach instead of Ivan Borislavov "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov. More than likely Roman "rmN-" Paley was with the team in Jordan for bootcamp with a big possibility that they have already been prepping for this potential circumstance since MC wasn't with the team already. Either way, it is a disruption that could bear heavy consequences.
Only two teams (out of six) will advance to compete in the Main Event of the ONE Esports Singapore Major. On top of that, neither prize money, nor Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) points are allotted for the Wild Card.

Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi
Aliwi “w33haa” Omar
Maroun “GH” Merhej
Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi
Roman “rmN-” Paley
Thus far, Quincy Crew, Na'Vi and Neon report they will be playing with alternate rosters as well as potentially Virtus.pro.
