Gambit and Forward Gaming are the first two teams to secure a place in the OGA Dota PIT Minor in just a few weeks.
After being upset by Team Team for the last slot in the MDL Disneyland Major, Forward Gaming made a fierce comeback by advancing through the OGA Dota PIT Minor qualifiers undefeated. Forward Gaming had just revamped their roster just over a week ago, Saahil ‘UNiVeRse’ Arora and Avery 'SVG' Silverman being released from the organization and Roman ‘Resolut1on’ Fominok moving to inactive status. The three were then replaced by Kartik 'Kitrak' Rathi, Quinn 'CC&C' Callahan and Jingjun 'Sneyking' Wu.
Gambit also seemed to be out for blood in the CIS OGA Dota PIT Minor qualifiers. The CIS team that has been looking stronger and stronger all season fell short in the MDL Disneyland Major qualifiers, being eliminated in the second round of the lower brackets. Picking themselves up, they charged forward in the Minor qualifiers, sweeping through Pavaga Junior and then Na'Vi (who had eliminated them previously) to land in the grand finals. There, they bested Old but Gold 2:1 for the sole place in Croatia.
