EHOME has withdrawn from ESL One Katowice 2019 and will be replaced by the runner up team from the Chinese closed qualifiers - ForTheDream.

The winners of the Bucharest Minor, EHOME, have had much success as of late. So much so, that they are now being forced to choose between events.

ESL One Katowice 2019 is scheduled to take place between February 19-24th. EHOME had qualified for the big event last month when they bested ForTheDream 3:2 in the grand finals of the closed qualifiers.

Later that same month, EHOME ended up snagging a spot for MDL Macau 2019 after ViCi Gaming were invited to the event and EHOME qualified through DPL Season 6 as the runner up team. MDL Macau 2019 is scheduled to take place February 20-24th in China.

For EHOME a choice had to be made on which event to then participate in. The choice may have been hard for them, but with MDL's high reputation and proximity to home with ease of access, they ended up deciding to forfeit their participation in Poland.

Sliding into their place will be FTD who were only one game away from clinching the spot on their own.

FTD will join 12 of the world’s best Dota 2 teams competing for a $300,000 prize pool. The group stage is set to take place from February 19-21th, followed by the main event in the Spodek Arena from February 22-24th. Once again, the ESL tournament will not be part of the DPC events for the new season.
