Three more teams - EHOME, RNG, and iG have joined the ranks of the teams participating in 2019 MDL Macau scheduled for next month.

Last month, MDL announced the return of a premier LAN event to the city of Macau. While not part of the DPC this time around, the tournament will still be featuring some of the best teams from around the world and a $300,000 prize pool.

Initially PSG.LGD and Virtus.pro were the first teams to confirm their participation. Three more direct invite spots were up for grabs and three qualifier spots for China would be filled via DPL Season 6 and closed qualifiers for 2019 MDL Macau.

Since then, ViCi Gaming was given an invite, leaving only two direct invitations to be filled. Although VG were the winners for DPL Season 6, their direct invite status meant that EHOME would be awarded the DPL Season 6 slot as the runner-up team for the season.

Meanwhile, RNG and Invictus Gaming fought hard in the closed qualifiers - both running through the brackets undefeated.

The LAN will be held February 20-24th in Macau, China after the DreamLeague Season 11 Minor qualifiers but before the main event - filling the gap between DPC events. Despite it being held at the same time as the ESL One Katowice LAN, some of the top teams are already slated to compete.
