Alliance seize MegaFon Champions League S2 title

Alliance has added another title to their collection of championships this year after overpowering Happy Guys 2:1 in the grand finals.

Over the course of the six days, sixteen teams battled it out to add a championship title to their CV before the end of the 2018 year. Eight teams were directly invited, including Alliance who have had a strong and much improved 2018-2019 season so far.

The Swedish kings started out surviving the brutal and unforgiving best-of-one elimination series that kicked things off. After that, it was all domination round after round as they outplayed and outlasted Napalm, Team Spirit and then ultimately Happy Guys, all 2:1.

The victory gives Alliance their seventh minor title since July. While the online events have seen the iconic organization doing well, the team has also made appearances at big LAN events such as WSOE in Las Vegas,  ESL One Hamburg 2018 and Kuala Lumpur Major and recently qualified to participate in The Chongqing Major coming up at the end of next month.

The current lineup has been together since June 2018 and shows no signs of stopping or slowing down.

Alliance Roster:
Sweden Michael  'miCKe' Nguyen
Germany Max 'qojqva' Bröcker
Sweden Samuel 'Boxi' Svahn
Norway Tommy 'Taiga' Le
Sweden Aydin 'iNsania' Sarkohi
