Evil Geniuses will be heading to ESL One Hamburg 2018 with CCNC standing in for SumaiL next week.
Evil Geniuses were the second team to be directly invited to participate at ESL One Hamburg 2018, following the invitation of Virtus.pro to defend their title. Despite the early invite, it seems that there have been some delays in obtaining Syed Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan's visa for Germany. SumaiL is no stranger to the visa process over the last few years, traveling all over the world on a consistent basis, but it appears that the problem is concerning just the timeliness of the completion of the visa distribution.
In his stead will be Quinn "CC&C" Callahan, fellow North American with a strong history of results and achievements. As an American, CCNC was able to step in on the short notice.

- Teams will be divided into two groups
- Round robin two-game series
- Top two teams each group will advance to playoffs Upper-Bracket
- Bottom two teams each group will advance to playoffs Lower-Bracket
Main event format:
- Double elimination bracket
- All matches are 'Bo3'
- Grand-final match will be 'Bo5'
