ESL One Hamburg 2018 Groups have been announced, revealing EVOS Esports as TNC Predator's replacement.
When TNC Predator announced last week they would be withdrawing from ESL One Hamburg 2018, the organizers had little time to secure a replacement team and visas. Typically a process that has given the industry many woes, seemed to go off without a hitch this time.
Second place team from the SEA qualifiers, EVOS Esports, were able to answer the call to replace TNC Predator who prioritized WESG over the German LAN. With their confirmation of obtaining their visas in time, the groups have now been set.

ESL One Hamburg 2018 will have an expanded format featuring round robin groups and double elimination playoff brackets.

- Teams will be divided into two groups
- Round robin two-game series
- Top two teams each group will advance to playoffs Upper-Bracket
- Bottom two teams each group will advance to playoffs Lower-Bracket
Main event format:
- Double elimination bracket
- All matches are 'Bo3'
- Grand-final match will be 'Bo5'
