ViCi Gaming is the last team to be directly invited to participate in ESL One Hamburg 2018 next month.
Vici Gaming struggled at the end of the season at ESL One Birmingham but earlier had taken second place at ESL One Katowice earning them a place among the best for ESL's newest iteration of events.
The new Vici Gaming roster has pieced together parts of the original lineup with pieces of VGJ.Thunder and a newer player as the last ingredient. The chemistry seems to work so far with the Chinese team already qualifying to participate in The Kuala Lumpur Major after a strong run through the qualifiers.

ViCi Gaming will be joining Virtus.pro, Evil Geniuses, Team Secret, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Forward Gaming, paiN Gaming and Mineski to compete for the largest share of the $300,000 prize pool and the championship title.

ESL One Hamburg 2018 will have an expanded format featuring round robin groups and double elimination playoff brackets.

- Participating teams: 12 teams
- 8 invited (Virtus.pro, Evil Geniuses, Team Secret, Mineski, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Forward Gaming, paiN Gaming and Vici Gaming)
- 4 qualified
Group-stage Format:
- Teams will be divided into two groups
- Round robin two-game series
- Top two teams each group will advance to playoffs Upper-Bracket
- Bottom two teams each group will advance to playoffs Lower-Bracket
Main event format:
- Double elimination bracket
- All matches are 'Bo3'
- Grand-final match will be 'Bo5'
