Rasmus "MISERY" Filipsen steps away from coaching and will be replacing Geytor "Duster" Pereira as a support player in the paiN Gaming lineup for the upcoming DPC 2018-2019 season. The roster is looking for a new org as well.
The South American team showed up to TI8 with the hearts of fans and the hope to pull out their own underdog story. Their performances leading up to the big event had been consistently evolving and their matches were exciting and fun to watch. When the push came to shove, paiN Gaming ended up being eliminated in the group stage and never had the opportunity to walk out on the main stage.Â
In efforts to see even more improvements, the Brazilian based team has made a swap —replacing Geytor "Duster" Pereira with their TI8 coach and veteran player Rasmus "MISERY" Filipsen.Â
Since the arrival of Omar "w33haa" Aliwi, paiN Gaming had turned heads with their improved playstyle. After acquiring the edge in game one paiN Gaming and SG esports went back and forth until the pain gang took their final advantage in game five and secured their place at TI8.
