The Taurora Dota 2 Invitational #1 featuring Alliance, Kingdra, and ten other notable lineups is gearing up with the first open qualifiers set for April 18th.
Twelve invited teams and four lucky winners from the open qualifiers will participate in the new tournament series organized by Taurora. The 16 teams will compete for a total prize pool of 5000€ split between first and second place winners.
So far, invitations have been extended to and accepted by Alliance, Kingdra, HReds and TBM. Eight more to be announced soon!
Taurora Dota 2 Invitational #1
- Open Qualifiers: April 18th and April 21st
- Group stage: April 25th through May 10th
- Playoffs: May 12th and 13th
- Total 16 teams will play in the tournament
- 12 teams will be invited and 4 will qualify through an open qualifier

- Single Elimination BO1
- Two qualifiers will be played.
- 1st open qualifier takes place April 18th starting at 17:00 CEST
- 2nd open qualifier takes place April 21st starting at 17:00 CEST
- Top two teams from each qualifier will get to the main tournament

Taurora Dota 2 Invitational main event
- Four groups of four teams.
- After the open qualifiers, all teams will be raffled into groups
- Games will be played weekly, starting on April 26th and ending on May 10th
- Top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs
- Playoffs are played from May 12th and 13th
- Group Stage: BO2 (Tiebreakers BO1)
- Playoffs: BO3
- Finals: BO5

The total prize pool is 5000€ divided as follows:
- 1st place: 3500€
- 2nd place: 1500€
