Digital chaos re-enters the fray, picking up Kurtis 'Aui_2000' Ling and company days before GESC Indonesia Minor.
Back in November, one of the name stay organizations of North America had quietly made their exit from the scene. The last roster was dissolved before the end of the year and some changes in the management structure re-located the organization to the east coast. Since then, Digital Chaos was waiting for the right time and team to come along.
The fortuitous signing of Animal Planet should prove to be a strong restart for the NA organization as the team has already been showing promising results.
The North American team formed in early January was picked up by Iceberg Esports only a few weeks later securing themselves a place at the GESC Indonesia Dota 2 Minor set to take place in Jakarta, Indonesia in March 2018. After one month playing under the Canadian banner for EPICENTER XL, DreamLeague Season 9 and DAC 2018 the team returned to their original moniker - Animal Planet after a spate of allegations regarding payment and legitimacy issues around Iceberg Esports.
While the team was only without an organization to support them for less than 2 weeks, they did make a switch in their roster during that time, replacing Kartik 'Kitrak' Rathi with Stanley "Stan King" Yang who will also assume the captain's role. The change in the lineup will mean that Digital Chaos will need to head through the open qualifiers for TI8 and any points they might receive at GESC Indonesia would be reduced as the penalty for breaking the roster lock.
