The biggest DotA 2 event in Europe, ESL One Frankfurt 2015 is going to make some format changes in order to improve this edition’s gaming experience for the both parties involved, spectators and the teams participating in the tournament.
One of the new features is this double elimination mini tournament called the "Seeding Bracket"; it will take place two days before the main event starts and will be held at ESL One studios in Frankfurt on June 18.
The importance of this new Seeding Bracket is huge as the first 3 seeded teams will get the privilege of choosing their respective opponents for the main event bracket from the teams that landed between 5th and 8th. The 4th team will ultimately face off against the team that did not get picked. The top three teams will get prioritized to choose their opponents in the order of their placement.
The initial placement for the seeding bracket was determined according to joinDOTA's rankings and it will take place as follows:

10:00 CEST Evil Geniuses vs Invictus Gaming
11:15 CEST Cloud 9 vs Virtus.Pro
11:15 CEST Vici Gaming vs Fnatic
