12 teams from all across the world will be fighting for their cut of a $1 million prize pool in Thailand this December.
ESL One Bangkok 2024 is set to be the final top-tier Dota 2 tournament of the year, featuring 12 of the best teams from all across the world battling it out from December 9 to 15 in Thailand. A prize pool of $1 million will be up for grabs alongside a haul of 20,940 ESL Pro Tour (EPT) points, which will guarantee invites to top-ranked teams in future ESL events.

Teams
ESL One Bangkok 2024 will feature a total of 12 participating teams, with four receiving direct invites to the event and eight others earning their spot through seven regional qualifiers. Here's the full list of participating teams:

Format
ESL One Bangkok 2024 will be split into two distinct stages: the Group Stage, running from December 9 to 11, and the Playoffs, running from December 13 to 15. The Group Stage will only be broadcasted online, but the Playoffs will be hosted in front of a live audience in Bangkok's Royal Paragon Hall.
The Group Stage will split the 12 participating teams into two groups of six teams each. They will then compete in a single round-robin format with all matches being a best-of-two for eight spots in the Playoffs. The Top 2 teams in each group will advance to the upper bracket of the Playoffs, while the third to fourth-placed teams will have to start the Playoffs in the lower bracket. Meanwhile, the bottom two teams will be eliminated.
ESL has yet to release the groupings for ESL One Bangkok 2024's Group Stage.
The Playoffs will follow a double-elimination bracket format with all matches being a best-of-three, except for the Grand Finals, which will be a full best-of-five series.
Prize pool
ESL One Bangkok 2024 will have a prize pool of $1 million and 20,940 EPT, which will guarantee invites to top-performing teams in future ESL events. All participating teams are guaranteed at least $25,000 in winnings while the champions will walk away with the grand prize of $300,000.

Where to watch
ESL One Bangkok 2024 will be broadcasted live in English on the official ESL Dota 2 Twitch and YouTube channels. Secondary and tertiary Twitch streams will also be active during the Group Stage to facilitate the high number of matches.
