Major League Gaming already announced their 100th anniversary event to be held in New Orleans between 16-18 October this year. While details are still to be unveiled we know for sure that the event will feature DotA 2 LAN finals with an insane amount of money for the prize pool.
The World Finals will be the Major League Gaming’s 100th live event and it will take place at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans on October 16-18 this year. The three days celebrating event will host DotA2 alongside with Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare tournaments with $500,000 in prize money. Tickets are already on sale starting from $49 for general admission pass up to $199 for the VIP pass.
According to the MLG president and co-founder Mike Sepso, "fans will get multiple competitions, the best teams in the world, and all the excitement of New Orleans in what we hope will be an event to remember for years to come."
