The Chinese squad Invictus Gaming is about to change yet again, as Li 'Chisbug' Chen is no longer a member of the main roster. A replacement for Chisbug has yet to be announced, but the player will travel to Kiev with iG for StarLadder XI along with the team's second stand-in player Xu 'BurNing' Zhilei.
It seems that 2015 will find a new and renovated Invictus Gaming, as new roster changes have already been announced for the Chinese squad. Through his official weibo page, Li 'Chisbug' Chen hinted his departure from the team, four months after his first game with the iG tag. It should be noted, however, that we have yet to receive confirmation about the change from the club's representatives, but it will probably come later with the announcement of Chisbug's replacement.
While Chisbug is no longer a member of the team, StarLadder's rules against roster changes oblige Invictus Gaming to use him in the LAN finals of the tournament next month. Along with Chisbug, Xu 'BurNing' Zhilei will also have to travel to Kiev, as he stood in for iG throughout the Chinese division as a replacement of Wong 'ChuaN' Hock Chuan. Rumors also want Zhilei to be joining iG as a permanent member, but neither side has announced anything on the matter.
Current iG roster :
Luo 'Luo' Yinqi
Luo 'Ferrari_430' Feichi
Lin 'June' Shiyang
Wong 'ChuaN' Hock Chuan
Li 'Chisbug' Chen (official stand-in for all ongoing tournaments)
Xu 'BurNing' Zhilei (official stand-in for StarLadder XI)
