Tongfu 3 tops Super Match week four

Tongfu 3 is the biggest winner in the fourth week of Nexon Invitational Super Match as they beat Startale for the second time and Virtus Pro. They will be flying home with $15,000 while VP gains $5,000.

With Virtus.Pro missing the first day of play, Nexon changed the format of the day to a best-of-three series between Startale and Tongfu 3. The winner of that match will walk away with $7,500 while the 0-2 loser will walk away with nothing. Assuming the loser takes a game off their opponents, the loser will be guaranteed a $5,000 finish. Startale did not capitalize on their chance to earn some quick buck and lost 0-2 to Tongfu 3.

After a scuffle with the immigration, Virtus.Pro finally made it to Seoul on the 22nd of November and had three days of rest before they were set to face Startale and Tongfu 3. After Tongfu 3 took down Startale for the third time, it is VP's turn to take on the Nexon Sponsorship League champion and the Russians had no trouble taking them down. At 14:00 CET, the much awaited Tongfu 3 versus VP was finally underway and to much surprise, the random mix teams of former professional Chinese Dota players were able to take down VP.

With the games said and done, Tongfu 3 walked away with $15,000, the equivalent of a 4-0 win in week one and two, while VP won $5,000 for beating Startale.
